The Ever-Growing Library
Think of the web like a library that is constantly growing every second. At ChristworX, we don't just "show" you the web; we curate and organize it so you can find what matters most to your faith journey.
Crawling: The Discovery Phase
ChristworX uses automated software (our digital "spiders") whose primary job is to discover new and updated pages across the faith-based web.
Following the Map
We start with a list of URLs from previous crawls and sitemaps provided by community members and website owners.
The Link Chain
As we visit a page, we identify every link and add those new paths to our global "to-do list" (the crawl queue).
Rendering
Our crawler doesn't just read code; it "renders" pages to see exactly what you see, including modern interactive content.
Indexing: The Categorization Phase
Once a page is discovered, we analyze it to understand its essence. This is where the actual "spiritual categorization" happens.
Content Analysis
We look at text, images, and videos. We analyze signals like headings, alt text, and structured data to verify context.
High-Quality Only
If a page is high-quality and unique, it’s added to our Index—a massive database stored across our global infrastructure.
Canonicalization
We filter out duplicates (multi-feed mirrors) to ensure you always get the definitive source for any teaching or news.
Ranking: The Delivery Phase
When you search, ChristworX doesn't search the live web—it searches its curated Index in milliseconds.
Relevance
We look for pages that best match the "intent" of your query, whether you're looking for scripture, community, or news.
Authority
We use algorithms to see how many other reputable sites in our network link to that page, verifying its trustworthiness.
Context
We factor in your location, language, and device type to give you the most helpful result for your immediate situation.
Quality and Integrity
Just because a page is crawled doesn't mean it will be indexed. If content is low-quality, spammy, or blocks our robots, we leave it out of the library to keep ChristworX pure and mission-focused.
